@@Commissioner Ferdinandsen moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
WHEREAS, Patrick R. Mahan tirelessly served the citizens of Jefferson County for 21 years, zealously committing himself to the public good; and
WHEREAS, his achievements, although too numerous to set forth in full, include successes in the areas of annexation, pavement and construction management, open space acquisition, human services, litigation prevention, and zoning enforcement; and
WHEREAS, his proactive style has saved the County countless dollars over his long tenure; and
WHEREAS, his forward thinking approach to government has made Jefferson County a leader in the State of Colorado; and
WHEREAS, his commitment to his co-workers and in particular the support he has provided to his own staff over his years as County Attorney created a cohesive and supportive work environment; and
WHEREAS, his contributions, devotion, and dedication to the people of Jefferson County will long be remembered in the improvements which resulted from his efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby and herewith recognizes the achievements and accomplishments of Patrick R. Mahan and his dedicated service to Jefferson County.
Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE
The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
