RESOLUTION NO. CC92-1165

RE: 1993 County Department of Social Services Pay Plan

WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. õ 26-1-120 the State Department of Social Services has established and does maintain a Merit System for County Social Services' employees; and

WHEREAS, in so doing the State Department makes rules and regulations as it deems necessary for such purpose; and

WHEREAS, beginning in 1987, the State Department promulgated rules which allow county departments to annually review and select options regarding compensation, holiday leave, hours of work and so forth; and

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Department of Social Services' Director and his staff have reviewed the available options for 1993; and

WHEREAS, the Director of the Jefferson County Department of Social Services recommends the adoption of the authorized salary adjustment in the 1993 pay plan; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed the recommended salary adjustment with the Director and is satisfied that the recommended option is in the best interests of the employees of the Jefferson County Department of Social Services and of the citizens of Jefferson County.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the attached 1993 Annual Salary Adjustment and Pay Plan is approved and the Chairman is authorized to sign the Plan for the purpose of submitting it to the State Department of Social Services.

Commissioner Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Marjorie E. Clement, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
