Board Member Ferdinandsen moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. SS92-042

RE: County Attorney/Jefferson County Department of Social Services Child Support Enforcement Legal Services Contract

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Department of Social Services desires to enter into an agreement with the County Attorney's Office for the provision to the Department of Social Services of child support enforcement legal services; and

WHEREAS, the State Department of Social Services has approved the Jefferson County Department of Social Services' request to waive the need to competitively procure the legal services agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Department of Social Services requires such services for the period beginning January 1, 1993 to and including December 31, 1993, in an amount not to exceed $109,816.40; and

WHEREAS, the County Attorney's Office is ready, willing and able to provide such services for the specified period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Social Services of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby and herewith approves the agreement dated December 30, 1992, between the Jefferson County Department of Social Services and the Jefferson County Attorney's Office for the period beginning January 1, 1993 to and including December 31, 1993, in an amount not to exceed $109,816.40.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Board of Social Services is authorized to execute the legal services contract on behalf of the Board.

Board Member Clement seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of Social Services of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
