Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC94-404

RE: PUBLIC WORKS - OPEN SPACE - WALTON/GREEN MOUNTAIN/LAKEWOOD OS93-25

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners approves the contract between Jefferson County and Audrey Grace Walton for the purchase of 71.985 acres of land, more or less, for the purchase price of $400,000.00.

Further Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners authorizes 1) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Agreement for Purchase and Sale and all related documents; 2) the CLOWN of Open Space or his designee, Sandy M. Prince, Acquisitions Specialist, to sign the closing documents; 3) the chairman of the Board or Assistant County Attorney, Thyria K. Wilson or Mary Lynn Tucker, to accept the deed(s) or other documents when received; 4) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Commissioners Deed to the City of Lakewood; and 5) the County Attorney's Office to cause said deeds or documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County.

Commissioner Miller seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
