Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC94-612

RE: COMMUNITY RESOURCES - OPEN SPACE - RTC/HOGBACK/KEN CARYL OS92-138

 

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners approves the contract between Jefferson County and the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) for the purchase of 119.2047 acres of land, more or less, for the purchase price of $300,000, or $2,517 per acre.

Authorization for: 1) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Agreement for Purchase and Sale and all related documents; 2) the Director of Open Space or his designee, Kevin D. Shea, Acquisitions Specialist, to sign the closing documents; 3) the Chairman of the Board of Assistant County Attorney, Mary Lynn Tucker, to accept the deed(s) or other documents when received; 4) the County Attorney's Office to cause said deeds or documents to be recorded in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Jefferson County; and 5) the Chairman of the Board to execute the Lease of this property to the Ken Caryl Recreation and Park District.

 

 

Commissioner Laura seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Betty J. Miller, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
