Commissioner Miller moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC96-099

RE:SHERIFF - INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR PATROL SERVICES BETWEEN JEFFERSON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY, THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves and executes the Agreement providing for property tax revenues received by the Law Enforcement Authority to be deposited in the Sheriff’s Patrol Fund. The Sheriff agrees to provide patrol services, in addition to those he would normally be able to provide to the residents of unincorporated Jefferson County within the boundaries of the Law Enforcement Authority.

Commissioner Laura seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Betty J. Miller AYE

Commissioner Gary D. Laura AYE

Commissioner John P. Stone, Chairman AYE

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
