Commissioner Miller moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
Resolved, that the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the Division of Land Planning & Infrastructure, in cooperation with the County Attorney’s Office, to initiate negotiations for acquisition of a right-of-way parcel required for the installation of a traffic signal at the southeast corner of West Bowles Avenue and South Alkire Street, Project No. 5-69-34-3322 (the "Project") for such amount as may seem just and reasonable to facilitate such acquisitions without the necessity of condemnation.
Be It Further Resolved that the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the County Attorney’s Office to initiate proceedings in eminent domain by and on behalf of and in the name of the County against the owner(s) and other(s) who claim an interest in any or all of the such right-of-way parcel as may be required for the Project and to take such further action as may be reasonably necessary for or incidental to the filing and diligent prosecution of any litigation or proceeding required for the Project.
Commissioner Laura seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
