Commissioner Stone moved that the following Resolution be adopted:

BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

STATE OF COLORADO

RESOLUTION NO. CC98-179

RE: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - APPOINTMENTS TO THE LOCAL JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, Senate Bill 93-134 requires that the Chief Judge appoint individuals recommended by the Board of County Commissioners from the County to serve on a Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee (the "Committee"); and

WHEREAS, the Committee, if practicable, shall include but not be limited to a representative of a local law enforcement agency, Jefferson County Courts, First Judicial District Court, a local school district and private citizens; and

WHEREAS, the following individuals were recommended for appointment to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee from the First Judicial District:

Marleen Fish Jefferson County Build A Generation

Michael C. Villano District Court Judge

Linda Ingram Jefferson County Public Schools

Les Williams Lakewood Police Department

Yvonne Conkling Dynamic Directions

John A. DeVita Jefferson County Court Judge

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado hereby and herewith appoints the following persons to serve on the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee for the First Judicial District:

Marleen Fish Jefferson County Build A Generation

Michael C. Villano District Court Judge

Linda Ingram Jefferson County Public Schools

Les Williams Lakewood Police Department

Yvonne Conkling Dynamic Directions

John A. DeVita Jefferson County Court Judge

Commissioner Holloway seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner John P. Stone AYE

Commissioner Patricia B. Holloway AYE

Commissioner Michelle Lawrence AYE

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
