Commissioner Holloway moved that the following Resolution be adopted:
BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. CC98-627
RE: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN JEFFERSON COUNTY, THE CITY OF ARVADA, JEFFERSON CENTER METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 1, AND JEFFERSON CENTER ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners entered into the Intergovernmental Agreement with the City Of Arvada, Jefferson Center Metropolitan District No. 1, and Jefferson Center Associates on August 15, 1989, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that the Intergovernmental Agreement in its present form is no longer in the best interests of the people of Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arvada, by letter from Mayor Robert G. Frie, requested that the County delay the effective date of its action on the Intergovernmental Agreement until February, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, hereby terminates its participation in the Intergovernmental Agreement effective February 12, 1999, and will not be bound by the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement thereafter.
Commissioner Stone seconded the adoption of the foregoing Resolution. The roll having been called, the vote was as follows:

The Resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Colorado.
