Providing Support for Adoptive Families
Jefferson County Adoption Resources
Welcome to the Jefferson County Adoption website. Our goal with this site is to assist you in your journey to adopt and raise your children. With all of the joys that adoption brings, it is often accompanied by challenges. From this website we want you to learn that you are not alone in facing the challenges. We offer services and resources to assist you in becoming an adoptive parent, as well as assist you in meeting your special needs as an adoptive family. We are proud of our more than 900 adoptive families that live in, or have adopted from Jefferson County; and we want to offer support in both the joys and challenges throughout the family journey.
