Information about Deryck
Deryck, born November 1995 
Deryck is in the 9th grade in a public school. He has been in his current foster home for almost a year. Deryck has had several placements over the past few years and has experienced one failed adoption. Deryck is not in individual therapy at this time due to making significant improvements. The caseworker feels that Deryck would do best as an only child or with older, mature children that are not high needs. Deryck has a great sense of humor; he loves asking questions and has an infectious smile. He is smart and loves to help out around the house. Deryck enjoys contact sports, and being physically active. His main issues are lying, stealing and making up false stories. Deryck loves playing video games. He needs a family that has a sense of humor and that can joke around with Deryck. He loves positive feedback. Deryck wants to join the military forces when he turns 18. He’s currently involved in the JR ROTC through his school. He loves the physical activities that are involved in this program.
