NAMI Walk

Please join us for the 5K Walk for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Saturday, May 16, 9:30 a.m. at Cheesman Park, Denver. There will be prizes, entertainment and a good time to be had by all.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.  Their annual national awareness campaign is under way and in Colorado kicks off with the 5K walk at Cheesman Park.  District Attorney Scott Storey and other Jeffco law enforcement agencies are supporting this valuable event.

The money collected can be designated to NAMI Jeffco (or the region of your choice) and goes towards valuable family and support groups, advocacy and public information.  NAMI invites us all to help raise awareness, reduce stigma and show support for persons with mental illness.

NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improvng the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
