Crimes Against Children

 

There is a distinct unit in the DA's Office which gives special attention to child victims of abuse and sexual assault. The Victim/Witness Specialist in this area works only with child victims and their non offending parents and/or guardians. Child victims receive direct support, and sensitive assistance throughout the criminal justice process. A children's court school has been developed solely for the benefit of child crime victims.
