Subpoenas
The Victim/Witness Unit is responsible for logging in all the returned subpoenas. Subpoenas are mailed to witnesses and a signed waiver of service is returned to us. Once received, that waiver is logged as "returned" on the case's subpoena list and is also entered into the computer system. At any time, an attorney can check to see who has returned subpoenas and who has not.
