    Crime Stoppers ask for Help Finding 71-year-old John Cizek

    Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating the body of 71-year-old John C. Cizek. He is the named victim in a first degree murder charge out of Jefferson County. Mr. Cizek was last seen at the McDonalds in Alamosa on June 12, 2016. Crime Stoppers is offering $12,000 for information which may lead to his recovery.

    On September 14, David Edward Little, DOB: 2-17-76, was charged with the first degree murder of Mr. Cizek, whose body has never been found. His family would like to recover his body.

    Little drove a white 1992 Jeep Cherokee with Colorado plates 216SWN or JQA206

    On June 12, Mr. Cizek, Mr. Little, and/or Mr. Cizek’s white 2016 Minnie Winne Winnebago were seen in various places in Alamosa throughout the day:

    • 10:30-11:30 a.m. Little attended Alamosa Church of Christ
    • 11:38 a.m. Mr. Cizek parked his RV in the Big R parking lot ( across from McDonalds)
    • 12:30 p.m. Mr. Cizek ate lunch at the McDonalds, at 100 Craft Drive, and returned to his RV. Little may have gotten into Mr. Cizek’s RV
    • 2:00 p.m. Little was in the the Ace Hardware (one block from the McDonalds, where he purchased a shovel, tarp, and hose - items later found in the RV by investigators)
    • 3:30 p.m. Mr. Cizek’s RV checked into Sand Dunes RV Park
    • 6:00-8:00 p.m. Little attended BBQ at Colorado Gators (tourist attraction nearAlamosa where Little worked)
    • 10:00 p.m. RV leaves RV Park
    • 10:30 p.m. RV was seen at a gas station in Hooper, Colorado, about 30 miles north of Alamosa on Hwy. 285. Little observed filling RV with gas
    • On 6/14, Little and the RV were seen at the King Soopers in Conifer
    • On 6/14, the RV, pulling an empty trailer and driven by Little, was seen at a Sinclair gas station in Fairplay
    • Investigators believe that on June 12 and June 14, Little traveled to and from the west metro Denver area and Alamosa on Hwy. 285

    Between June 13th and 21st, Little was in the west metro area and used Mr. Cizek’s credit cards at numerous places in Golden, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, and Lakewood.

    David Little was found dead in his cell at the Jefferson County jail on October 4, 2016. His death is believed to have been suicide.
