  • Who makes it happen?

     

    Facilities teams meetingOur many functions are handled by four separate, however, closely intertwined specialty teams:   

    Operations Team

    Comprised of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, heating, ventilation and cooling trades personnel.  This team manages and maintains all the building systems; performing preventive maintenance, responds to work order requests, performs office remodels, fabricates signs and name plates, campus and parking lot snow removal duties and responds to building emergencies.

    Building Services Team

    Comprised of building security/access management staff, general maintenance/customer service personnel, painters, mail room staff and grounds technicians.  This team responds to work order requests, manages security/access issues, elevators, life/safety, conference room setup/tear down, general building maintenance, painting (maintenance and projects), mail pickup/delivery, custodial and all grounds/landscaping maintenance and management tasks, including building entrance and sidewalk snow removal duties.

    Construction Management Team

    Comprised of project managers.  This team provides comprehensive management for space planning, building programming, design and project management for capital construction, remodels and major maintenance projects for the County.  This team also manages building leases, real estate and general land use issues.

    Business Office Team

    Comprised of administrative and technical staff.  This team manages badge access distribution, Help Desk tickets management, conference room reservations, furniture layout and design, Autocad drawings and maintenance, set-up of division hardware, integration and management of software, database management, budget management, purchasing, accounting, payroll management, as well as reception and all other FACM administrative support duties.
