Welcome Letter from the Fairgrounds Director

Experience the Fairgrounds! "Where the City meets the Mountains and the West comes Alive!"  On behalf of the entire Fairgrounds staff, I would like to thank you for your interest and welcome you to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. You have my personal guarantee that your interaction with all of us at the Fairgrounds is our highest priority and we will do everything we can to help ensure your experience at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds is beyond comparison!  We pride ourselves in serving you, our customer!

Our recently remodeled and new facilities can accommodate a wide variety of types of events, i.e.; rodeos, bull riding, dog shows, tradeshows, horse shows, banquets, conferences, meetings, picnics, auto shows and sales, RV clubs, fairs and festivals; or use your imagination; we are here to serve you!  Per our mission statement, "provide unique, functional, and user friendly Fairgrounds facilities and services to accommodate an array of indoor and outdoor uses; with the focus being on equestrian, agricultural, youth, and passive recreational activities", we also cater to youth organizations, such as 4H and Scouts, and work closely with the Westernaires, (a world renowned mounted youth precision drill team consisting of over 1000 Jefferson County youth, ages 9-18).

Our location, just 15 minutes west of downtown Denver, and immediately surrounded by top quality dining, lodging, entertainment, and shopping facilities; enables us to become your destination and home for years to come.  Please go to area attractions for further details.
