Colorado Clean Indoor Air
On July 1st, 2006, the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act went into effect. The Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act was passed to protect consumers and workers from involuntary exposure to secondhand smoke. Colorado is the 13th state to implement a comprehensive statewide law prohibiting smoking in public places and workplaces, including restaurants and bars.
Reducing secondhand smoke exposure will improve the health of employees and customers, reduce health care costs, and can save businesses money by reducing cleaning and maintenance costs.
