Air Quality

The quality of the air we breathe is a concern of all county residents, industry and government. Jefferson County Public Health's Air Quality Control Section helps protect our air by monitoring for air pollutants and enforcing the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission's Regulations.

Staff conducts a variety of activities under contract with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Air Pollution Control Division.
