The Health Education Program is committed to partnering with individuals, community groups, organizations and businesses to promote health for all people.

A unique aspect of our program is that our partnerships are community-driven. These partnerships bring together the health promotion resources, knowledge and experience of our team with the specific concerns, interests, talents and requests of community members.

Some of the ways that the Health Education Program can partner with community members includes, but is not limited to:

• Building capacity for health promotion and health planning
• Strategic planning for health promotion initiatives
• Identification and customization of health curricula, resources and presentations
• Professional development and in-service training
• Developing assessment and evaluation tools
