What We Do:
- Administer the County's Adopt-a-Highway Program
- Permit and Inspect Work in County Right-of-Way
- Manage Major Roadway Project Design and Construction Contracts
- Inspect Public Improvements (Roads and Storm Drainage Systems), Constructed by Land Developers
- Transportation System Planning
- Address Traffic Safety, Signal, Sign and Striping Issues
- Maintain Traffic Control Devices; including Signs, Signals and Markings
- Collect and Analyze Traffic Data
- Investigate Drainage Concerns
- Partner with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District
on Drainageway Master Planning and Stabilization Projects
- Perform In-House Engineering, Surveying and Street Right-of-Way Acquisition
