Aging and Adult Services

• Adult Protection 
  Provides assistance to adults 18 years and older who are at-risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Aging Well Project 
  Develops and implements strategies to meet the needs of the growing senior population.
• Burial Assistance 
  Provides cash assistance to eligible, low-income Colorado residents to help with the cost of a funeral, burial or cremation.
• Colorado Quest Card EBT 
  Check balances and get information on benefits issued on electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards.
• Home Care Allowance 
  Provides cash assistance to elderly and disabled individuals for services paid directly to a home care provider of the client’s choice.
• Housing Assistance 
  Information on a variety of homelessness, housing, economic development, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Long Term Care 
  Determines financial eligibility for ongoing medical or non-medical support for adults over the age of 18 who may have a chronic illness or disability and need long term care or disabled children who are at risk of institutionalization in a hospital or nursing facility and who would not otherwise be eligible for Medicaid due to parental income and/or resources.
• Medicare Savings 
  Provides financial assistance to eligible low-income Colorado residents who currently receive Medicare.
• Old Age Pension 
  Provides financial assistance to eligible, low-income Colorado residents who are 60 years of age or older.
• Options for Long Term Care 
  Coordinates a variety of long-term services that include medical and non-medical care to people who have a chronic illness or disability.
• PEAK 
  Offers online services for Coloradoans to check eligibility and apply for medical, food, and cash assistance programs.
• Veterans Services 
  The Veterans Services Office is there to help residents of Jeffco who served in the United States military.
