Supervise clients ordered to complete Useful Public Service (community service). Cooperating with nearly 1,600 non-profit organizations around the metro area, Case Managers find placement agencies willing to work with community service clients. Case Managers report completion or non-compliance to the courts, probation, and other referring sources.
Provide opportunities for completion of Useful Public Service and probation sanction hours on a supervised work project crew. Work Crew Leaders transport clients on a van or bus to designated work sites and supervise projects such as recycling, light landscaping, animal care, food bank support, trash pick-up and park maintenance.
Residential Work Crews provide opportunities for juveniles to complete court-ordered and probation-sanctioned weekends. Residential Crew Leaders transport juvenile clients by bus to R-1 School District’s Outdoor Lab School facilities, where they perform maintenance and improvement projects on gender-specific weekend crews. Some work also takes place at Conifer Community Park at Beaver Ranch. Clients earn scores in four categories: Judgment, Leadership, Motivation, and Teamwork.
