Tri-County Workforce Center is offering the workshop "New Strategies for a New Job Market," from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, January 18 at 730 Simms Street in Golden.
This workshop is part of the Career Building Nuts and Bolts program at Tri-County Workforce Center, a series of personal and professional development workshops for people in transition. Job seekers can get help writing resumes and cover letters, polishing interview skills and tackling other job-hunting issues at no cost. Most of the programs are approximately two hours in length and are held during the day at the Tri-County Workforce Center.
The "New Strategies for a New Job Market" workshop focuses on helping job seekers change their tactics in finding the right job by using six new strategies. The workshop presenter is Donald J. Strankowski, founder and President of Ascend Career and Life Strategies, LLC, a training and consulting firm for businesses, professionals, and executives. Since 2001, Ascend has helped hundreds of people land a better job, improve their level of performance, change careers, or start their own business.
All workshops are free and open to the public, but each class is limited to 20 people. Participants can sign up for individual workshops or for the entire series by calling the Tri-County Workforce Center at 303-271-4700. The January schedule for the Career Building Nuts & Bolts program is:
