Temporary Closure and Detour to Take Effect
Beginning Monday, March 23, 2009, Jefferson County Open Space crews will be replacing the decking on a bridge along the Clear Creek Trail east of McIntyre Street. Temporary closures will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weekdays only.
With the cooperation of the Coors Brewing Company, a detour will allow trail users to continue along the path paralleling Clear Creek and connecting Golden, Wheat Ridge and the larger Denver metro area trail system. Trail users are asked to be aware of detour/closure signs and comply with the biking dismount area for everyone's safety. Weather permitting, decking replacement should be completed by mid-April.
