The German Heritage Festival, presented by MillerCoors, will be held on the grounds of the Colorado Railroad Museum between Friday, June 25 and Sunday, June 27. The focus of this unique weekend is on the heritage of Colorado’s largest ethnic group – German Americans and their continued love of trains.
Friday Night is the Festlichkeit, “Festival," from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. featuring Dancenhoppin, Foodeatin and Keggertappen of Colorado Bahnhof Bräu Zehn. Saturday and Sunday will see the German Heritage Festival with Beergarden, Giftshoppin and Railriden.
It’s a weekend filled with the best German festivities including children’s Kinderleicht crafts and games, steam-up train rides and heritage entertainers - all featured in our beer garden and German village with authentic foods, crafts and collectibles.
The Colorado Railroad Museum has been engaging and educating families and railfans for 50 years. Since 1959, the Museum has become a favorite destination where 75,000 annual visitors explore the stories and experiences that defined the Rocky Mountain frontier.
