Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood, 32, was in court today in Jefferson County and entered a plea of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Eastwood was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office following the February 2010 shooting at Deer Creek Middle School in Littleton, Colorado.
As a result of this plea Eastwood will be transported the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo for examination.
Eastwood currently faces 15 criminal counts in the school incident.
A motions hearing is set for July 23, 2010 at 8:00 a.m.
