Jefferson County, Co. – On August 21, 2010, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to The Ridge Recreation Center located at 6613 S. Ward St. in Littleton in reference to a sex assault on a child.
The assault happened at about 5:00 p.m. on August 21. A ten-year-old boy reported to his parents that he was sexually assaulted in the men’s locker room while he was getting dressed after swimming. The suspect is described as a white male with a dark tan, or possibly a Latino male, 5’08” to 5’10” tall, with short dark hair. The male is thought to be between his late teens and mid-twenties in age, and possibly has a mole near his right eye.
Another sexual assault on a 16-year-old boy occurred at The Ridge in April, 2010. The Sheriff’s Office is unsure if these two incidents are related.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen someone in the area of The Ridge resembling the description, or has any information that may aid in the investigation.
