Re: Deer Creek Bike Event to Limit Access to Open Space Parks on Sunday, August 29
On Sunday, August 29, a road biking event on Deer Creek Canyon Road will limit access to three area Open Space Parks: Deer Creek Canyon Park, Hildebrand Ranch Park and South Valley Park in the southwest metro area.
According to the ride organizers, "Deer Creek Canyon will be restricted to residents of Deer Creek Canyon in motor vehicles and to cyclist participants in our event. Motorists, pedestrians or cyclists not entered in the event will be diverted to alternate routes."
Open Space recommends visitors planning to recreate at Deer Creek Canyon Park, Hildebrand Ranch Park or South Valley Park take this opportunity to discover any of the other wonderful parks in the Open Space system on this particular Sunday. |
