The deadline to register to vote in the 2009 Coordinated Mail Ballot election in Jefferson County is Monday, October 5.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
This election is being conducted by Jefferson County as an all mail ballot election. Ballots will automatically be sent to eligible voters for this election between October 13 – 16. Voters registering after October 5 will be registered to vote, but will not be eligible to vote in this November’s election.
Voters can register to vote, or update their voter registration information by visiting any of the County Clerk’s branch locations, or by downloading a voter registration form at www.votejeffco.com.
“Approximately 330,000 ballots will be sent to Jefferson County voters for this election,” said Pam Anderson, Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder. “There are many important local races this year, so we are hopeful that participation in the election is high,” she added.
