Kathy Hartman has been named the 2010 chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners and Faye Griffin will serve as chairman pro-tem. Hartman also will chair the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Authority Board of Directors with Griffin as chairman pro tem.
Commissioners Hartman, Griffin and J. Kevin McCasky approved the 2010 organizational structure at the Board’s hearing today. They also confirmed several appointments to various boards and commissions.
Hartman will continue to represent the county on the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and the Jefferson Center for Mental Health boards; and will serve as an alternate on the Boundary Control Commission, the Jefferson Economic Council and the Head Start Policy Council.
Griffin will represent the county on the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District Board, the E-911 Board, Criminal Justice Strategic Planning Committee, the Child and Youth Leadership Commission, the Head Start Policy Council, and the Rocky Flats Stewardship Council; and will be an alternate to the Jefferson Economic Council, the Jefferson Parkway Public Highway Authority Board and the Boundary Control Commission.
McCasky will be the county’s representative on the Jefferson Economic Council, the Jefferson Parkway Public Highway Authority and the Boundary Control Commission; and will serve as alternate to DRCOG.
All three commissioners will make up the county’s Law Enforcement Authority Board and the Noxious Weed Advisory Board.
