The Jefferson County Planning Commission adopted the Jefferson County Comprehensive Master Plan on January 27, 2010. The plan goes into effect for new formal rezoning and site approval applications on January 28, 2010.
This plan is an overarching plan that focuses on broad, county-wide policies and objectives that reflect the County's goals on matters pertaining to land use, economic development, the environment, services and utilities. The county's Community Plans will continue to be used in conjunction with this plan to evaluate proposed changes in land use.
