Residents of central Jefferson County will have an opportunity to shape the future of their neighborhoods as the county’s Planning & Zoning Division seeks input to update the Central Plains Community Plan.
Jefferson County is beginning the process of updating three of its 10 community plans so it can consolidate them into the Comprehensive Master Plan, which the Planning Commission adopted in January. The Comprehensive Master Plan is a consolidated document that expresses the overarching goals of the county and lends guidance to the Board of County Commissioners when making land-use decisions.
Planning & Zoning will hold the Central Plains Community Plan Kick-Off Meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 22, in Hearing Room 1 at the Jefferson County Administration & Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden.
