Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) announced that the Lakewood Library will be closed on Sunday, August 1, to accommodate planned upgrades to the library parking lot.
Upgrades include resurfacing the parking lot and painting new parking stripes to create additional parking spaces. Work on the parking lot will begin after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, and the library will reopen on Monday, August 2.
The Lakewood Public Library is located at 10200 W. 20th Ave. in Lakewood and is typically open seven days a week at the following times: Sunday, noon to 5:00 p.m.; Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
