West Corridor Crews will be working in the median under the Colfax Bridge to finalize the configuration of the Colfax and 6th Avenue interchange.

These activities will require lane closures on Colfax Avenue at the 6th Avenue interchange. The left hand lanes of both eastbound and westbound Colfax Avenue at 6th Avenue will be closed on:

• Wednesday, August 4 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 4 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5.
• Thursday, August 5 from 9:00 p.m., with all lanes of Colfax opening at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010.

We appreciate your cooperation during this activity and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Scheduled dates are subject to change and are weather dependent. While it’s not anticipated to have crews in the area continuously from now until completion of construction, the phasing of future activities will require crews to be moving in and out from now until West Corridor light rail construction is completed in late 2012.
