Please join us in making the 2012 Holiday Season a little brighter for families in need. The Jefferson County Children, Youth and Families Division Adopt-a-Family Program serves children and families that are dealing with issues of child abuse and neglect. Clients who are referred to the Adopt-a-Family program are in need of assistance during the holiday season and without the help of generous community donators may not receive any gifts this holiday season.
Gift drop off will take place December 3 - December 5, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Jefferson County Human Services Building Cafeteria, located at 900 Jefferson County Pkwy. near the NORTH building entrance.
There are two ways you can help:
- Sign up to "adopt" a child or family (see our online form to sign up). You may bring those gifts wrapped, but please label them CLEARLY with the family members name AND family number.
- In addition, we will be collecting items especially needed at this time: gifts for teens, non-perishable food items, diapers and children's books.
There will be assistance in unloading your vehicle if needed. Donors are welcome to join us in the cafeteria for refreshments during gift drop off week.
