Jeffco Planning & Zoning Survey Results Show the Desire for Greater Public Outreach
The Jefferson County Planning & Zoning Division recently completed a survey of its stakeholders to gauge their interest in learning more about planning and zoning matters. A total of 192 completed surveys were completed, both online and through hard copies returned to the division. The responses indicated there is a strong public interest in learning more about planning and zoning topics, in fact 65 percent of respondents expressed a desire for more information on planning and zoning issues. |

The study began in January 2004 with the goal of defining potential and perceived issues with large animals and how best to address those issues. Today, the Jefferson County Planning & Zoning Division updated its Non-Residential Vacancy Inventory by adding vacant properties located in the unincorporated north plains areas of the county.
