Completion of Swamp Angel Detention Facility
The construction work at the Swamp Angel Detention Pond north of the Coors Technology Center at the McIntyre Street Outfall has been completed. The project increases the pond's storage capacity as part of the effort to develop alternative methods to convey stormwater in the Fairmount area.
Completion of Bridge Repairs at Plainview Road Over Coal Creek
The Plainview Bridge is located on Plainview Road approximately ¼ mile north of SH 72, just beyond Jefferson County Open Space lands. The bridge was constructed in 1990 and connects area ranches and railway operations to SH 72. This is the first bridge repair completed in Jefferson County using FASTER funds.
