Dating advertisement leads to robbery

On January 17, 2006 the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was called to a robbery that occurred after the victim called a popular telephone dating service. "Live Links," advertised during late-night television programs offers callers the chance to meet available adults.

The victim, a 32 year-old man from Parker, called Live Links while driving to the casinos in Central City and Blackhawk. After following the procedures on the Live Links phone menu, the victim was contacted by a 23-year-old female and given directions to 18200 W. 60th Ave. to meet the female in person.

At the residence the victim was led into a back bedroom. After discussing sexual acts and money the victim was confronted by a male, holding a bat, who had been hiding in the house. The victim was robbed of his money and leather jacket and ordered to leave the residence.

The suspects in this crime are being held at the Jefferson County Jail on Aggravated Robbery charges. They are identified as:

Brooke Martin, dob 08-24-83
Justin T. Wolf, dob 06-25-81

Mugshots of these suspects are being withheld pending photo lineups with other possible victims.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is seeking anyone that may have been victimized after calling Live Links or other similar dating services.
