For the fourth straight year, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will host an exciting community event: The Sheriff’s Safety Fair at the Summerset Festival, Sept. 19-20.
The Sheriff's Safety Fair will be held in a large field in Clement Park, adjacent to the Summerset Festival activities. The event will feature lots of activities for children and adults alike. The Sheriff's Office hosts this annual fair at the Summerset Festival to engage our community in taking steps to stay safe and healthy. We’ll have safety information and interactive activities from experts in crime prevention, child safety, driving safety, disaster preparedness and Internet predator prevention. The event will also feature a child fingerprinting booth.
This year the Sheriff’s Office safety partners will include the Colorado State Patrol, the Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado State Parks, Bike Jeffco and Crime Stoppers.
