Jefferson County, Co. – On March 10, 2010, Jefferson County Sheriff’s investigators were called to Children’s Hospital in reference to a six week old girl with a broken rib and head injury. It was determined that the rib was in the process of healing, and appeared to be a previous yet recent injury. The head injury was fluid on the brain.

The parents took the baby to the doctor on March 08, 2010 after she started throwing up. It was believed at the time that she had the stomach flu. On March 10, 2010, she was continuing to throw up, and then had a seizure. The baby was then transported to Children’s hospital where the questionable injuries were discovered. 
 
On March 11, 2010, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s investigators interviewed the parents, and subsequently arrested the baby’s father, Anton Bogachov (dob 092686), for child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury.  Bogachov is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $25,000.00 bond. His next court appearance is March 18, 2010, at 10 a.m.
