Re: Home invasion in Applewood
On July 13, 2010, at about 1 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2000 block of Beech Court in reference to a home invasion robbery. Three males made illegal entry into the home and fired several shots from a handgun. There were seven victims in the house, none of which were hit by the gunfire, but six were physically assaulted.
The suspects were described as two white males, one with a physical description of 6’00” tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The other white male is described as 5’10” – 6’00” tall and 180 – 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The third suspect was a Hispanic male, 5’09” – 5’11” and 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspects in this case face possible charges of attempted homicide, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, assault and menacing.
Property was stolen in the invasion, and investigators are gathering facts regarding these crimes. Anyone with information is urged to call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office tip-line at 303-271-5612. |
