Jefferson County, Co. – On Saturday, August 18th, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a DUI checkpoint from approximately 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. in north Jeffco. 

The checkpoint will be conducted in conjunction with the Colorado State Patrol, the Golden Police Department, and in association with the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) 100 Days of Heat campaign.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is committed to reducing the number of drunk drivers and alcohol-related accidents in Jefferson County.  The Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to drive safely and responsibly.
