Jefferson County, Co. – On December 5, 2012, the West Metro Drug Task Force launched an undercover operation resulting in the arrest of four heroin distributors.  Investigators began looking into heroin distribution occurring in the Denver area, specifically Jefferson County, earlier this month.

The task force seized four ounces of heroin individually packaged in 220 sellable balloons. Detectives also seized about $4,000 in cash and one vehicle.

The suspects are Honduran and Mexican Nationals and all are currently in custody at the Jefferson County Jail.  All four suspects face numerous felonies, including Distribution of Controlled Substances and Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
