This marks the second year for the horse sense seminar series. The series came about when local animal groups recognized a need for affordable adult education classes on horse care.
The seminars are a collaborative effort by the Jefferson County Animal Control office and the Jefferson County Horse Council.

Each event will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Green Mountain conference rooms at the CSU Extension Center meeting room at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 15200 W. 6th Ave. in Golden. Costs per class are $15 for the general public, $10 for Jefferson County Horse Council members and 4-H parents, and free for children under 18. Cash or checks will be accepted on-site.
