The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will host four Scout Night events - educational events for scouting groups in Jefferson County.  Scout Night will feature education on fingerprinting, crime prevention, using 911, the Safe2Tell school safety program and safety with animals.  Each Scout Night will feature the same curriculum but will be located in a different area of the county to make the events convenient for residents.

Scout Night began in 2005 as a response to the high number of speaker requests from scout groups each fall.  The Scout Night curriculum is designed to help scouts of many age groups fulfill safety-related badge requirements.   Boy and girl scouts of all ages are welcome, as are parents and siblings.  Adults must accompany all scout groups.  Because of space restrictions, RSVPs are required.
