The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to 6412 W. Morraine Pl. at 5 p.m. on April 3, 2007, in reference to a death investigation involving suspicious circumstances.  A 17-year-old male resident called 911 to report that he returned home and found an unknown male dead inside of his home.

When deputies arrived at the scene they were met in the front yard by the juvenile caller and a second male.  Upon searching the home, deputies located a deceased male just inside the door leading from the garage into the house.  There were no immediate signs of visible trauma.   During the course of the investigation both males were taken to the Sheriff's Office to be interviewed.  As the investigation progressed, three additional males were contacted at other locations and brought to the Sheriff's Office for questioning.

Sheriff's investigators have determined that the victim died as a result of a gunshot wound.  Although his name is not being released at this time, he is a 20-year-old male resident of unincorporated Jefferson County.

Investigators have arrested the17-year-old resident of Morraine Place and two other adult males for 1^st Degree Homicide and Aggravated Robbery.  The adult suspects have been identified as Aaron Zamora (dob 101387) and Jeffery DePault (dob 063086).  Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for a fourth suspect who is still at large.  The remaining suspect is identified as Adam Zamora (dob 060886).
