On July 23, 2007, Jefferson County Sheriff?s deputies responded to the 8400 block of Scenic Drive in reference to a dead body found at vacant home.  Based on the condition of the decomposed body, investigators believe that the subject had been there for some period of time.   

Sheriff?s investigators are continuing the investigation surrounding the circumstances of the murder.  The victim is described as an adult male, 35-55 years old, 5?6?, 150 lbs, long straight black hair pulled back into a ponytail, and a very thin moustache and goatee.  The victim also had no upper teeth and his lower teeth were in a very poor, decaying condition.  He was wearing newer blue jeans, a grey t-shirt with the word ?DECA? on the left breast and brown lace-up work boots.
