Jefferson County, Colorado ? On Thursday, March 13, 2008 the West Metro Drug Task Force arrested three adult males after receiving a tip about a drug distribution operation that had ties to both Jefferson County and Denver.  The tip led agents from the Task Force, Denver Police officers and DEA agents to an undisclosed address in the Denver area.  As a result of the investigation, agents confiscated over five pounds of heroin, nearly a half pound of cocaine, two handguns and $7,000 in cash.  Three suspects were taken into custody at a private residence without incident.

The suspects are identified as:
 Jesus Efrain Espinoza-Verdugo, dob 12-22-85
 Jose Fidel Martinez-Soto, dob 03-04-77
 Luis Miguel Arrendondo-Soto, dob 08-23-84

On March 19, the three men were charged with possession, distribution and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.  They have until March 31 to schedule a preliminary hearing.  They are being held at the Jefferson County Detention Facility on $500,000 bond.
