  • Picnic by rippling waters, hear the call of an osprey External Link Icon, take in the light of dawn as it illuminates towering cliffs. Pine Valley Ranch Park offers treasures of yesteryear and inspires memories that last a lifetime.
    Pine Valley Ranch offers 1.3 miles of quiet, easy-to-moderate trails that are hiker-only. Nearly three miles of multi-use trails are open to all. Buck Gulch Trail allows access to the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area External Link Icon in Pike National Forest External Link Icon.   

    The gem of the valley is Pine Lake. Skaters and anglers enjoy the ice when they're not warming by the hearth in a lakeside hut. Anglers can enjoy pier fishing in warmer months. 


    ADVISORY:  Shelter area and trails will be congested at the start and finish of the "North Fork Trail Race" on Saturday, June 27, 2015.

    Baehrden Historic Lodge History 

    Baehrden is open to the public.

    Events at Baerhden
    No events can be scheduled at Baehrden at this time.

    Shuttle Service
    It’s a 10 minute hike from the lower parking lot to Baehrden. Stop by the depot to request a shuttle to the lodge or call ahead to make shuttle reservations please call the 303-271-5925.  


    Getting There

    From U.S. Highway 285, turn south on Pine Valley Road (County Road 126) to Crystal Lake Road. Turn right one mile into the park.
